Apple Pips baby and toddler group
We welcome children aged 0-5 and their parents/carers to the village hall every Monday in term-time from 09.30 to 11.30. We ask for a donation of £3 per family which includes free play, craft, tea, coffee, cake and snack for the children. Your first visit is free and there is no need to book in advance – just turn up!
About the group
A mother and baby group has existed in Payhembury since 1983, when village resident Pat LePage started holding gatherings in her front room. As numbers increased the group moved to the village hall, gaining the name of Apple Pips along the way. We celebrated our 40th anniversary, with Pat in attendance, in July 2023. The group is run entirely by volunteers – please let us know if you’d like to help!
