Payhembury Provisions Community Shop

Payhembury is lucky enough to be home to a wonderful village centre shop run by volunteers. The shop offers all the usual basics including newspapers, fresh and frozen meat, milk, fruit & veg, bread, cakes/buns, alcohol and stationery items. All sorts of local brochures and information can be found in the shop.

Be sure to keep an eye out for special offers each month – regular services are:

  • Weekend fresh in house baking with wonderful croissants, pains au chocolate, French sticks etc (which can be ordered)
  • Order of fresh meat
  • Newspaper ordering

We have a Post Office in the shop on Mondays from 2.00 – 4.00pm which undertakes all PO services

Volunteers

Payhembury Provisions is also a great place to volunteer and meet new people from the village. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator – payhemburyprovisionsvolunteers@gmail.com . There are lots of different ways you can help – behind the till, ordering and stock control, updating the computer, keeping the shop looking good are just a few, there are lots of other ways. Just an hour or two a week makes a big difference.
